Tell them to send a sample of a square foot or so and compare the temperature 4 in from a 60watt bulb with the thermometer in a 1 cubic foot enclosure. Use tinfoil and paper for comparison.

I have used stuff with simular claims and found no difference from white elasticomeric roof coat, just 4 times the price.
