Subject: [Ferro List] Digester
Hello Everybody,
I have a good bit of experience in renewables and in 08 we are starting to
offer methane gas
systems to our clients. I would like to build all the components from
scratch that we
can, instead of buying them when possible.Stainless Steel Is So Expensive
therefore I want to build a system using ferro tanks , cleaning equipment
included.
In all the time I have read the archives I've never seen where anybody on
the list was building any Fc. methane digesters and in an above ground
design. I remember seeing those neat
tanks in the South Seas ( water & septic ) and I know that there have been
lots of tanks built for fresh water storage but has anyone experience with a
Fc digester reactor tank ?
If so , please tell me about your experience , tank operation thickness of
walls , straight walls , domes, reinforcement used, design mix, PSI of
digester and final gas delivery. Insulation of digester, any heating or
cooling process used in production or cleaning, tank vol.in gallons, tanks
actual sizes , gas production v/s feed rates & stock used, your clean up
process of the gas & fuel final grade, any special equipment , any
compression used, at what bar , the life span of the operation, Etc.
Many Thanks In Advance For Your Wisdom.
God Bless & Best Regards,
