You would want to jack tangent to the sphere to change the level that way.

Mud jacking can be just mud or sand and mud. Not every body uses grout.

To mud jack a sphere the pump line goes just below 1/2 of the distance to 
the bottom. Just set some PVC pipe in place so you don't have to drill for it.

Sheet piling uphill to 6 ft should stabilize the rotation of the sphere, ground will 
still move but the top is not much faster than 6 foot down.

My choice - pipe for mud jacking and use sand with mud or the dirt that is already there.
It will 'float' just like a drive slab or a boat.
