The vent?? tangent on top with a cable sounds a good way. The top slips
faster than
the lower soil so it should tend to roll downhill. Mud jacking will float
the sphere
higher. Cable will probably cause the mud to flow around. Saturated mud
flows simular to water.
There are often slip strata that slide on frost at first thaw.
Pressure may be as low as 40# to lift a 6 in slab. position under the slab
determins the angle of float.
