[Ferro List] Expanded metal lath

Hi Peter,

We were talking Turkey in our original missive, but
since learned the devalued dollar has driven prices
above what we can get in the US. Also, my Turkish
friend is unsure about consistency of quality as that
type of lath is not typically used there which is why
we wanted to send them samples, get their equivalent
samples in return and distribute them to potential
buyers here. Where would you be receiving the
material, and what gauge?

On another subject, I just purchased a metal shear, a
manually operated, table mounted device that looks
much like a large paper cutter and cuts very straight,
quick cuts through our 3.4 lb sheets. It's foreign
made, and the labelling on it is hard to determine
which is the mfgr and which is the model type. MOSTR
is the most prominent lettering so its probably the
mfgr. libor 143 is either the model number or the type
of machine. It's Croatian in origin(it's previous
owner lives in Atlanta and used to have a specialty
sheet metal business in which he did high end
restaurant and bar displays, corporate offices,
etc--there's a lot of that stuff here--and is retiring
and returning to Europe which is why I got it at a
very reasonable($250) price.)
I was going to post a picture of it but lost the wire
I need to connect my camera to my computer. It seems
to be very effective although I haven't started using
it for large scale production yet.

Regards,

Jeff
