There may be an upside for patenting, but the concept of keeping
realizations from one another so we can make money on their ignorance, or
prevent others from benefiting by buying up and sitting on patents so one
can continue to sell their obsolete ideas continues to rattle me.
While I'm on the subject of being rattled, there is more work to be done
than ever before, so why are so many Americans looking for work? It just
might be that what they really want is a job that someone else provides for
them.
I'm not paranoid, but I can guarantee that given the edge most will use it
to their advantage and others disadvantage. Conspiracies abound everywhere.
Life is tough, and dangerous.
I doubt any of us will escape alive.
One of my neighbors has spent over $10K to patent a drink holder for
crutches. Even then he probably will never recoup a dime.
Oh yeah, he is still hasn't got his patent.
By the way, I doubt that the wheel was really invented. A space ship left
it here to distract the inmates.
