Mikey,
Peter Epperson of Pacific Gunite, who has commented on this before has a cool set-up on the back of his truck. You, with us Peter?
I want to build the tool described in the booklet Pip Bending Machine, by Vincent R. Gingery http://www.gingerybooks.com or gingery at gingerybooks.com
What I have done for steaming and bending wood is nailing large nails (spikes) in large pieces of wood to make a form and cutting off the heads, then slipping the stock over the stessed side of the nail. this would work for tubes or steel stock. String some connected pallets out over an area, and nail out the forms wanted. You could use bolts instead of nails or log cabin spikes. Variations of this could be used for making fc ribs with strips of ply or other material as the backerboard. - chris

Any tips for making rebar circles on the cheap? Would the $200 benders
be able to do circles this small? I am not able to drop $2,000 on the
fancy benders that do this well.
