[Ferro List] compressor ratings

Hi Chris,

Questions to ask yourself are:

How many hours per day, days per week, etc. do you envision using the
sprayer?

What other air powered equipment might you be using?

Will you be using other air equipment at the same time as the Tirolessa?

How long and what size runs of hose and piping do you expect to use?

BTW, the 7cfm at 80psi suggestion from the factory is a minimum
requirement. Stiffer mixes will need more pressure. I generally use
90-95psi for a stiff mortar.

The smaller [5HP] compressor should work fine for the sprayer. I assume it
is a 40 gal. or 60gal. tank. The larger compressor should handle the
sprayer, long runs of pipe and hose and most likely other tools at the
same time.

The fact that they are both made by Quincy should give you long life and
reduced maintainance from either of these models when compared to the Home
Despot type of compressors.

Please keep us informed.

thanks,
Paul
